Twice I've told them Haddington is no use so they're trying to send me there a third time, do they not put notes on patient records

I'm not phoning today, I'll phone when I've calmed down a bit.
Good morning all, good morning Steve,

Don’t you get to choose where you would like to be treated, is that how it works?

In December when I was being seen in the vascular department at the hospital in Bristol, the specialist said he will see me again next month.

When I rang in March and April about the appointment, they said “you are in the system and will receive a letter when we know the date”. Still no letter.

I am not feeling confident it will come through in time, so next Thursday I am having a private appointment to see a vascular surgeon in Nairobi.

Despite the pressures on the NHS, it is free so that is something to be grateful for. Tomorrow I am seeing the skin cancer doctor to have 7 lesions removed from my face and head. That will be £100 for the consult and treatment, okay it’s money but it’s peace of mind.

Hopefully your camera appointment comes through and it will suit your needs.

Keep us updated.

Morning all, Sunshine & showers rolling through here with a stiff breeze. I've got to have a look into the big laurel bush in the corner of the garden to see if any birds are nesting in it, It's overdue a trim with the electric clippers.

Morning all. Sunny but there's rain blowing around in the strong breeze.

I think they look at my address and automatically assume Haddington is nearer but getting there involves two, infrequent, buses and the buses go into the south side of the town with the hospital on the north side so even after you get to Haddington you have a 30 minute walk. What is so frustrating is I keep telling them Haddington is no use to me but they seem to pay no attention to that. Even if the car was on the road just now the hospital in Haddington is a huge building site with non existent parking.

Morning all,

Out on a location shoot with a model today.

Weather looks like it will be a mixture of cloud and sun but dry.

Photos will follow later
