Default Sills colour

I have a 2000 plate BRG car that requires some sill work, would someone know the original sill colour? originally I understand they were black, but gloss or matt? was there an original colour code?

Thanks.

No, there wasn't a colour code Mark. I'd say that satin or matt would give the best match to the factory finish.

I used Hammerite satin black spray on mine and it looks original.
