Finished off the clutch change that was started on Friday (Yeah I take my time) I was faced with many stuck bolts that needed an angle grinder to remove, it's great when other folk have butchered things before you get in there.

A big thanks to Rogue for nipping to the motor factors and picking up some gearbox oil for me, it saved me a trip out

Finally got the low coolant sensor properly installed and wired in that I bought from member Lovell on here ages ago when he was offering them. Very chuffed when it worked (when tested with a deliberately lowered coolant level) - hats off to Lovell - it's a very nicely engineered piece of kit.

Over weekend & today actually.....

Good Friday replaced front discs & pads with Delphi (discs/pads), all went well until i got the disc off the NSF, found a bit of play in the wheel hub bearing.

Saturday changed the grille badge on my facelift 75 tourer to a Mk1 grille badge, maybe a personal thing but always thought the Mk2 badge was an after thought.... also washed car.

Today - Having booked in at local "trusted" garage to have bearing looked at & MOT done (was due in two weeks).... now got shiny new MOT, with 2 "monitor/repair if necessary (advisories):-

Rear brake disc worn, pitted but not seriously weakened etc..... (already have new disc & pads) - was looking to do at weekend when did fronts but trolley jack wouldn't safely go high enough even with paving slab underneath to get axles stand in position! (so looking to get a better quality jack when funds allow!)

Minor wear to OSF rear wishbone bush...
actually noticed it was not in as good condition as the NSF when doing front disc & pads.

so..... new wheel bearing, new NSF brake hose, with new brake fluid (saved me a job) 4 hrs labour & MOT = £342.36 - which I thought wasn't too bad as only work had done in last year... everything else done by me.....so now a Happy Bunny with a fresh MOT ticket for the coming year!

Finished cleaning off the manky roof liner sponge.

Affixed all the loose wiring to the roof with Gorilla tape. took out various trims and dash bits to get the new rear camera cable though to the head unit. luckily the 6m cable was exactly right. .

Re trimmed passenger side A piller trin with new material .

Was going to do the drivers side but found all the tabs bent of broke.
Another jobbie for the 3D printer tonight.

Rewired the BMW auto dip mirror.

Found a broken wire inthe reverse Beeper display. & mended it..

All rather more fun than staying indoors with the grand children visiting

Default Mirrors and sills

Got the Owatrol on the faded black (following a recommendation from AndyN01 on here) - works a treat! That said, the pics don't do it justice because of the reflected light.
