It will need a little modification (ie) 11mm taken off the top thread.
3

4

This is only needed so the special tool will fit correctly.
5

Note also that the top area surface is wider on the FL1 mount as opposed to the original, in my opinion helps spread the load better for the engine bracket to sit on
6

The top rubber also as more of a chamfer again helping spread the load.

FL1 Left.
Petrol Centre.
Diesel Original Right.

Will get this fitted asap

More importantly….What flavour is the FL1 pot noodle?🤔

Default Fitted FL1 Hydro Mount

Fitted a FL1 hydro mount to the NUK lots better now and well worth the little mod you have to do on the top thread for the special tool to fit.

Nice smooth now no vibrating.

This was used spare i had to use after the petrol one i had would not fit.

Why would you fit a petrol mount to a diesel when you can fit a Freelander 1 diesel mount knowing it's for the same engine as our R40 diesels M47.

Also why fit this below, please note the title listing saying it's ( KKB101923 ) then when you read the listing properly at the bottom of the page you have this.
( Please note: there is a part number KKB101914 stamped into the rubber which the petrol part number there is only 1 set of tooling used for petrol & diesel mounts.)

(Then take note of the Item specifics, Manufacturer: Rover Brand: Aftermarket Products.)

Seems to me that the listing is very misleading.

As i think the mount above is in fact one of these.

So why take the risk when you can fit one of these. FL1 Auto or Manual mounts.

This job is on my to do list, what if any difference is there between the manual and automatic hydromouts seeing as it's attached to the engine end, manual and automatic gearbox mounts i can see being different.

Hi Sean.
I am afraid i cannot answer that for you, as the one i fitted to my car was a manual one, which i got at a great bargain £30 it was only after i purchased it, that i did a little more searching and noticed there were two different ones.
