For some reason the thanks button has disappeared from posts.

Good morning Andy. I've been thinking about what you and your friends are doing. I just want to say, make sure you are all mentally and emotionally prepared for what you are about to hear from the Ukrainian refugees you will meet.
Stay safe.

This is such a big thing for ordinary people to undertake, I've spread the story around various social groups I am a part of. It would be nice if anyone had any contacts within the TV or media industry that could give this a mention.

There are options to contact BBC News on the BBC website, https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/10725415. How effective it would be is another matter.

I've just sent a link to this thread to GBNews. Worth a try

Thank you Dave,

It’s not that difficult to contact the BBC news team about Trikey and what the members of this club have been doing, it’s a humanitarian story touching the hearts of many. I remember when I did an interview on BBC Breakfast News about hostages, the lead up to it was all handled by one of the researchers and a producer, all done over the phone.

One of the club directors works in TV I except his contacts are more up to date than mine. Perhaps he will step up…..

ahh, thanks Steve.

I watch Newsmaxtv.com which is an independent American news channel. I've just let one of the presenters know what Andy is doing. So that's potentially 3 news organizations that are aware
