Rover 75 Diesel fuel leak
Hi Everybody
I have a diesel leak drivers side just in front of rear wheel checked underneath and small pump thing on a bracket just dropped down with a wire attached to it, Its totally corroded and leaking first question what it please ? also can i just bypass it temporary as i havent another to replace it ? and does it matter leaving the wire disconnected. many thanks in advance julian

That is the fuel pump for the FBH. If you are not going to use your FBH then remove the pump and terminate the fuel line. Tuck the electrical plug away. |

Many thanks for quick relp i wont be using it for a while so should i just connect the 2 fuel pipes together or just terminate both seperatley.

Thanks Arctic havent got a piece of pipe at moment to connect together so just terminated both ends will that be ok temporary, thanks julian

only a day or two i said anyone with an FBH should check their pump bracket. checking the bracket will also allow people to check the pump.
the pump and bracket are prone to rust. I am sure someone can add a link to cheap replacement pump, that can be obtained. check B&Q for doing pipe connectors, I'm sure i got some from there some time ago. Yes two dead ends will ok, a piece of brake pipe pushed into both ends will do also
