In this case it was Direct Line - couldn't fault them to be honest - before the offer when originally it was going to be in for repair (pre-underwriter) I was going to get a free hire car from Thrifty. They did really try to make it painless.

I phoned Direct Line last year, but my post code made it dear.. Swings and roundabouts all the time.
