I brought a disassembled kit car home in such a way, Once on a flat bed trailer, everything was there, just not attached to the car, even the body and chassis were not assembled,
Looking forward to saying hi to everyone tomorrow, mines the dark red one , with the big scary black dog, sat on the back seat, she's actually very friendly, so don't be put off by her.

Sorry everyone, but due to the conditions, and the weather forecast in my area for tomorrow, im going to have to bail out, forecast is for high winds, and heavy rain, and the A21 isn't the best road, to be driving along in bad conditions, I was really looking forward to saying hi, and if the conditions were better, i would have driven down, stay safe everyone

That is most disappointing. We were looking forward to meeting you. As the Rover is hors de combat my poor old Bgt has to make the journey in the wind and rain.

The wind has completely dropped, hope you will find conditions better in the morning.

As Jennifer has said, disappointing.

Totally understandable though, and there will be a next time.

Thanks for letting us know.

Mike

Default Meet today

Home now after a difficult drive, satnav again took me on most awful tiny roads. Thanks Mike for organising the new venue. Very nice indeed. Huge thanks for solving the problem on the MG and for all your help.

Looking forward to next time.

I hope you all had a good time, and got home safely, Its been very windy all day down here, i ventured out about 6 am to walk the dog, and and nearly got blown off my feet, i drove out later, about 7.30 , intending to try and make it, and theres still a lot of debris the winds are gusting at around 50 mph, and on one long stretch, of open road, i got blown over the middle of the road, luckily there was nothing else on the road at that point i turned round deciding to not risk it. any further

Sorry to hear that, better luck next time. Really good venue; parking right outside for an excellent breakfast. We were lucky to get home before the rain started.
