What you fail to realise is that 75/ZT drivers are entitled to do what they want because it's their car, and the rules are only there so that we can have a laugh at those who try to comply with them.

Default Number plate guidelines

Hi All, not read the whole thread, but in case no-one has posted this link... it's the official guidelines to all things number platey!! Including BS markings....

Please will someone bubble me to the law. The plates I have are show plates with a BS Mark. I have passed eight MOT's with them on.. Oh I wish I went to bloomin Halfrauds. How ruddy boring.

I do think that some people think that law enforcement should only be applied to things that they think are worthy.

And, of course, there was no enforcement directed at the OP, but there was policing carried out......he was advised.

Granted, but with the lack of police numbers & the stats they have to achieve, there is a tendency to enforce and not police.

Wow fair bit of discussion on this.
I have messaged hardridden but Ken is on holiday but will get back to me asap & answer my questions.
As for the policeman who pulled me over he couldn't have been any nicer and said the only thing was the bs markings were missing he did say it was being picky but to get them changed as it could result in a £60 fine if stopped again, so I'll be getting them changed as I'm in killie regular and could easily have the same policeman behind me again.
