I went there last year with Spike and it's worth the trip; it's almost at the bottom of France but we were on our way back from Spain.

I made a video crossing it which I'll post later from home. Meanwhile, just a photo:
I was with my 12-year old daughter (a young fan of great construction projects). We drove across, turned around and drove back and then across for a third time! Stunning!

I did this a couple of years ago on a driving holiday in Europe in the 75, wife thought I was bonkers because I went miles out of our way to drive over the bridge and then down through the mont blanc tunnel.
the 75 is a great car for cruising around Europe in. |

Done this two years ago, well worth doing.
If you park up you can walk up to a vantage point for a fantastic view.

Been over it many times, lovely. I think it would be well worth leaving the autoroute and going down into Millau to see it from below. Been meaning to myself but always seem to need to get somewhere else.

Been over it with my Morris Minor Traveller in 2003, definitely a spectacular bridge.

I've been over it a few times now, usually en route to Spain on the bike. The best bit for me is seeing it in the distance for the first time when heading south - less than 200 miles to go, ice-cold beer awaits!
I didn't like it much the last time I used it in June this year though - heavy rain all the way across the Massif.....waterproof bike gear is very rarely properly waterproof! Pete
