Thumbs down I'm not a contortionist!

Today i decided to change my heater matrix as we had the usual lack of heat from our blowers. 2 HOURS later and i have come to the conclusion that unless i remove one of my arms i am not going to be able seal the top pipe. My shoulders are actually on fire with the strange shapes i was having to pull just to fit in the footwell, i'm 3XL in clothes so as you can imagine it is quite a tight squeeze. I've now given up for the night and will probably end up cutting the ends off the pipes and using some rubber tubing and some jubilee clips. This is one of those times when i wish the swear filter didn't work!

I know how you feel. My arms are still battered from the trauma of ramming them up behind the dash to change a brake light switch after fitting cruise control.

Lucky for me that the father in law can actually fit in the drivers footwell because e has now fixed the leak that I couldn't! So woohoo heaters are now working perfectly again.

Getting at awkward fittings is an art innit. My mechanic changed my cars heater matrix in about 30 minutes..

Told you could do it. Delegate, that's the answer, then just sit back and watch. Simples.

Actually swapping the matrix out was easy enough, it was just getting the top pipe sealed that i was having trouble with! Blooming shoulders kept getting stuck under the steering wheel
