I used to be a straight up lager drinker, but after deciding that Stella was ruining my evenings and Carling tasted like fizzy dishwater, I swapped out to real ales and I've never looked back

I'll always try at least one of the guest ale in my local...and normally rather more than one

I've got a soft spot for the pale ales with lots of hops- But default choice is Old Speckled Hen if nothing else presents itself (which has the added bonus of the MG badge on the pump )

What he said...always try the guest ales by http://www.coach-house-brewing.co.uk/ at my local Wetherspoons and particularly love the fruit ones especially the Blueberry. Even enjoyed a couple pints of their Xmas Pud too yesterday at the quiz night. When I am in the SW I can't stay away from Tribute and even order cans from the brewery for it online. If I can't get any cask though its a pint of Tetleys every time.

Yep, they can be non alcoholic too.
My favourite alcohol free, is a pint of mud
In case you dont know it is a bottle of orange juice in a pint glass topped up with coke. Looks like mud, tastes. Try it

Good choices! Personally prefer SA to Dark, but Tribute is my favourite at the moment

J&B and Canada Dry/Lemonade (loads of ice)
Polish Wodka & Coke (loads of ice)
Caprinha
Super Bock or Becks

Will never drink that washing-up water they call "Ale" - Would rather drink Coke! A warm Coke! Through a dirty sock!
