Have i got it right ?

So..... I have found out i have the old 3 speed fan, I have now re-brushed it as per a thread i found on here.
So now I start the car with the heater on normally, NOT demist, and its on permanently.

I put demist on.....cant really tell if it speeds up or not.....but it does not do the on / off every 30 seconds thing anymore !!!!!!!

Im going to take that as a good sign !! LOL

Oh, the outside temp sensor is not connected as ive not refitted the bumper yet.

does this sound like its fixed to anyone ?????

OK, the fan did stop when the econ button was pressed.
