Anti roll bar (link bar)
Happy new year everybody,i or the zt rather developed a nice knocking sound from the front suspension yesterday,so i braved the cold and took front wheels off to find the anti roll bar hanging in the air and the link bar was hanging from the strut, the bottom ball joint of the link bar had sheered off (rust). now the job to replace looks simple I'm wondering if anybody has replaced this link and if any advice i.e should i replace both sides budget allowing as i have not got any prices yet as Sunday, also availability do motor factors have these on the shelve?
many thanks.... Last edited by ScottyDog; 4th January 2009 at 13:07.. |

Not particularly difficult to replace from my experience. I don't see the need to replace these in pairs. Of course, you should check the condition of the other side and take appropriate action.
