Default Waistrail trim removal

Does the trim just pop off? Is there a knack to removing it without damaging anything ?

If you can get behind the clips then you can get them off without them breaking by using some pliers otherwise, as I found out, the clips will break. I would buy somemore off Ebay or Rimmers or your local MG Rover XPart dealer

I'd undo the trim clip from the back of the panel first and lift the trim and clips off together. It's easy enought for the rear wing - just peel back the boot liner carpet from inside the wing. For the doors and front wing though you'd have to strip them down or remove the wing.

The section on the rear wing has got a nut and bolt holding it in place as well as clips. Easy enough to get at though.
