Default Road Trip

Just returned from camping road trip of around 1700 miles in our 2001 CDT. Lake District lovely but too crowded in places. North Wales just about perfect in every way. South West Wales St David's like Cornwall without the crowds. Lovely. Saw a collection of Rovers in need of TLC in Brecon Beacons somewhere. Portsmouth and Southampton a bit of history. Isle of Wight very windy. York where our car originally registered. Edinburgh festival. back to Inverness. Miles now 98 000. Car perfect throughout. No oil loss. No coolant loss. 56mpg. The Android Radio / GPS / bluetooth device we fitted a couple of years back is best (and only) upgrade we have made to car. Its striking how new the average car in the UK is, we were definitely an outlier. Long may it continue.

A holiday is always made extra special when you are driving a great car rather than some boring euro box on wheels lol.
