no problem whilst the whole country feels the tight squeeze of the budget and i wont have a pay rise for 2 years as i am in the public sector, they will come back and still draw their £100 grand a week without any worries but it was a very very poor world cup, one victory in 4 games and that was against the smallest nation there

I thought it was the usual. They haven´t got a clue. The Germans wanted to win. Our lot seems slightly indifferent. Rooneys first 15 passes went either to the lines man or a bloke playing in white. The Germans play consistently good football, always have done. Good luck to them, hope they win. England is a B nation where football is concerned. Thank god for cricket and a half decent Rugby side

I have no interest whatsoever in football, other than the crimes committed in its name, but SWMBO does and a comment she came out with caused a smile

"We lost four to one and our goalkeeper was the best player in the team by a country mile"

The only football I watch is the world cup because I feel a real need for England to win.

Upset about the outcome, I have NO idea how they can be paid so much. I've seen primary school children try harder.

It has to be said I'm really sorry England are out. They are all very talented individuals but at present they don't play as a team.

Well I said from the outset I'd support England, the dreams over! So come on Scotland Euro 12 here we come!!! Or not as the case may be

like the comentators said, they are all suberb individuals, and play very good football when with their own clubs, but none of them play as a team, thats all they are, a handful of players with no connection.

on a more posetive note, its not the end of football, so theres always next time, but i can almost garuntee what the outcome will be, and i dont even need to say it for everyone to know the answer...
