Thanks to Teflon for the pics, it was good to see Yeti has come to his senses and switched to driving a Rover.
Thanks to all those who attended, great to see so many MG/Rovers together.
Also thanks to Vinnie for the gift of a Shannon tube and letting me drive his ZT-T, it's not a bad car at all, just needs a Walnut dash, Leather seats and a Rover badge to make it perfect.

Default The Star, Leatherhead. Sept 14th

May I take this opportunity, to thank everybody who attended today, no matter for how long. It was a fantastic turn out, 26 cars attended. At 4pm we still had 20 cars on site too. Special thanks to Rick -Sta, Holland314 (Tom) and his father Pete who both turned up from Essex on the day, and Tom bought goodies with them too. Phil (Gate Keeper) who has gone back to Africa for his sabbatical, good luck matey, see you again next Year, and Julien and Dawn went straight to the airport from the meet for their holiday. Cannot fault the dedication of our club members when they still turn up, even when have other things on their minds, or other places to be.

Thanks to Teflon for the excellent pictures including the very humorous ones of yetis at I did take some of his car but Teflon did a excellent job so why imitate him.

It was great to see stu HH,s loss is our gain he is a great guy and if you are into buses he is your man, guess where he got his forum name from . Sorry Andy we didn't get to have the chat I promised you but will ring you in week.

Also I had I had my pcv filter renewed, the egr bypass done and boy was it needed the old one was full of gunk, the intercooler pipe was replaced with the sfs silicone version the o rings were blown Andy (shiner) did a excellent job of fitting everything in a efficient manner at a very modest cost compared to what a garage would have charged me,Andy can supply some parts if you give him time, I bought mine ready for the day and all went smoothly a good guy and great mechanic.
The day was beautiful sunny with slight breeze and we dined in the garden holding conversations about cars, absent friends & many other things. I am looking toward to the October meet already followed by the kings arms meet (which I will arrange) somlots to look forward to everyone
