Ok... I'm kinda lost now. I looked at intergrating my Ipod into my MG ZT 190 2002 with Symphony low line HU about a year ago but got stuck. Now i see it might be possible?

The CD changer i don't care about i just want to hook up the IPOD and be able to skip songs via the remote on the steering wheel.

Is this possible with one of the products mentioned in the above posts?

Thanks in advance

The connects2 ipod adapter will do what you ask for. It is also supposed to be able to select playlists with the disc buttons but that was flaky at best.

It says on the connects 2 website it's for the Alpine High Line ISO block connection. I have the alpine Low line no sat nav at all.

The playlist selection i can do without...

"High Line" is probably just confusion at Connects2. XQD101043PUY is the Symphony HU.

Well I finally got my christmas present sorted today. I was given a Belkin Tunecast Auto.

Seems to do all I want using a radio transmitter plugged into the cigarette lighter socket.

Set a playlist up on iTunes and Robert is your parents sibling.

Volume controls work from the steering wheel and also the transmitter buttons.

£39.99 and up and running in 2 minutes

I don't want to hijack the thread so I hope you don't mind me asking but what is the audio quality like with the Belkin? I've a cheap Ipod FM transmitter which plugs into the cigarette lighter socket but the quality is poor - somewhere between FM and MW in effect with audible inteference on all FM channels (you can select anything from 87.5 to 106 or so). Is this because the aerial is embedded in the rear screen or might a better quality transmitter work better?

Thanks in advance

Anthony.

Mine worked fine Anthony. I only picked it up in Derby today and plugged it in. I had a good signal on the way home and it didnt drop the signal. I suppose it matters where abouts you are situated. Im pleased and will take the Belkin with me to France next week
