Default mask healights and backlights

was thinking on putting some black tape on the headlights and backlights to make them darker, not full black just a bit darker... also painting black the hairpin 18 alloys i have....

was wondering what your opinion...???

my car has antharacite grey color but it looks more like blue to me, a dark blue...

I think the term your looking for is tinting the lights
And if you go ahead with your plans I'm sure it will look cool

yes...
you re right...

tinting them, i also think it could be cool however i also think that the police could couse some trouble to me...

here in portugal i already have seen people who put some tape and others that actually paint the headlights...

mine are very degreaded and was thinking about polish them or putting the tape...
or tinting them like you say is the correct term...
here in the forum as anyone done that???

Default Not in the UK, not sure about spain....

I've never thought about doing it to my own car, but I know in this country you want to buy ones that are professionally done and E marked as UK street legal. Other wise VOSA doesn't like it. I've never seen any official tinted "E" marked Rover 75 headlights so I don't think there is a possibility. It seems the police will look for any excuse to pull you over these days, so personally I wouldn't risk it.
