3D effect
Hi Folks
Ive recently purchased a tourer in Odyssey Blue, a beautiful colour and when its just been cleaned is really quite eye catching, the thing is when you look at the car in sunlight at a certain angle you can tell that someone has used an electric polisher leaving a sort of 3D effect circles, how can i get rid of these please or are they permant scrating of some kind. thanks for any replies Godders 75 |

Sounds like you are suffering from hologramming.
If so then you are going to have to repolish (not wax) the area/car to remove the swirls. Do you have access to a machine polisher ? , if so then that would be the way to go with a light cut / refining polish. HTH |

If you want somebody to do it for you and dont mind travelling to Gillingham in Kent then try these people http://www.kdskeltec.co.uk/detailing.phtml
Their work is truly jaw dropping (read this thread from Detailing world http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=141365 ,look at the reflection shots at the end.......) But there again you can remove these yourself with a little time and effort |
