If Spencer stopped smoking his weight would shoot up. Nicotin being a hunger supressent

This thread is a good idea, never too late to start. Recommend that you all annoy the GP buy getting bloods done (Haemoglobin, urine test, suger test (Hb1c is the best), lipids (choloesterol etc), kreatinine (kidney funktion), liver tests. BP and pulse. Google -Metabolic Syndrome- and have a good read.

I have been visiting the doctors for the last few months as they have been monitoring my blood pressure which has been quite high. I have had my bloods tested & everything came back ok including cholestrol - but the doctor advised me to lose some weight as i am only little!! 5' 6" and weighed 13 stone 11. This was mid December so i cut out all sweets, biscuits, crisps etc & stopped eating inbetween meals & started to have breakfast, which is something i have never done, i have also started to do some exercises at home 3 to 4 times a week and weigh myself at home every Monday morning. This morning i weighed 13 stone so i have now managed to lose 11lb & will be very happy if i can keep this up. I have no time scale set but would like to get to 12 stone. The doctors want to see me again in March for another blood pressure check so i would like to think they will be pleased with my progress.

Steve.

I managed to loose nearly five stone in about two months,

Went down from 14 stone, but don't remember too much thanks
to the wonder illness G B S.

Now back to 13 stone all in 8 months.
