Good examples are now fetching excellent money - still good to see a good diesel auto with decent spec grabbing £2k+ with ease.

I did 260 miles on Sunday and have to say only saw 2 Rover 75s on the whole journey so they are getting low on numbers by the week!

After I bought mine from a family friend four weeks ago, my bro had a look around, and he was quite surprised at the high prices, especially for the diesel autos. He actually couldn't find an automatic in his price range as it was for a second car.

Finding a decent one is also getting harder, I was looking for many months and not too dust if it was a ZT or a 75 I just wanted a 1.8. They are available but a lot I looked at were really rough until I found the one I have now!

I look regularly and good cars have an asking price of 2k to 4k. Most are dealers so there is a bit of profit attached but it goes to show what confidence they have in the marque.

I think you may be right. I bought mine, which had done 42,850 miles and was in very nice fettle, from a dealer for under £1,000 less than three months ago. Apart from a couple of private sales, the cheapest comparable one I can find at the moment (in terms of age/mileage/condition etc) has an asking price of £1,495.

Don't know about the price. The cost of keeping them going is!
