It's a very dark morning with heavy rain. Thankful that the wind isn't up to much though!

We are doing okay Jeff and we count our blessings. Jessica is my carer until I am back on my feet again which isn’t too far off. Please, please don’t worry about visiting us as you have plenty to be going on with and must conserve yourself for the big weekend with Lady Emma and the move. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Venus and Mars?
My neighbour has just bought a new (to him) Jaguar car and still has his old one on the drive. I know that he is going to sell it and this has clearly upset the Venus in my life. "Why do men have to buy something new before getting rid of the old one?" she asks. "Because that way, you are never without one!" I reply. "I don't understand that, it must be a man thing!" she responds. "Cushions!" I say. "Cushions?" she responds. "Yes" I say, "Why do we have cushions all over?" She gives me "the look"! I shrug my shoulders and walk off to the man cave! (it does not have any cushions!)

Morning. Ging safely through check in etc and I’m now dragging my weary butt back home. Cr@p nights sleep in the hotel, mattress as hard as a board and pillows like marshmallows!

That north easterly wind has picked up here so we have horizontal rain. I've only been outside to pick up some empty plant pots that had been blowing around the garden & that's as much as I'm doing outside today, Horrible weather.

Hi Phil, Lovely pics of you in the hotel, Glad to hear you're doing better. The vegetable soup went down a treat last night, One thing I like about Autumn is it's soup weather & as you say very welcoming & tasty It'll be a pork chop tea tonight as they were the first thing I pulled out of the freezer first thing this morning.

What a lovely birthday, thanks everyone for your Birthday wishes
Here in a rather damp Norfolk it has been an eventful morning, torrential rain, floods everywhere, and roads closed. My garage has been flooded out, water about 6 in deep, the more I swept it out the more that still comes in,I abandoned it and shall now wait until the storm passes and assess what has been ruined by the water On a better note.its Steak Chips, mushrooms for tea, then I shall slice the lovely cake that Jessica and Phil sent me and you are all welcome to a slice
