Default New £25000 "Baby" Land Rover anyone?

Looks like Land Rover are downsizing their iconic Land Rover, "The £25,000 Land Rover’s styling is said to draw heavily on the new Defender as well as referencing the original iconic Land Rover."

"The company’s need for such a car has also been hastened by incoming EU CO2 regulations and the requirement for the firm to hit an average of 130g/km of CO2 by 2021, ahead of another big cut in 2025."

Is that a rebadged Yeti? Just looks like another car that's already on the market

If you have 25K to throw away, best put it through a suitable shredder, but using it to buy a box as ugly as this might serve just as an effective way of wasting your money, being a LR, it will be expensive to run, to service and loose value like falling maisonary, and it will be unreliable, but you go ahead and buy one if it makes you feel good, me I rather walk.

From what I've been reading this will have the new three cylinder 48V hybrid engine in it to enable JLR to get from their current fleet emissions of 155g/Km down to 131g/Km otherwise it will cost them dearly in fines.
This engine is going into the Evoque too.
