What a miserable day, It's lashing down & windy

Those look awesome Jeff

Just been sorting the tea out for later, corned beef pie, taters, mashed carrots & some mixed veg & onion gravy for tea.

Afternoon all, went for a walk around Valletta today, it was quite busy and very warm at 27deg.

I am not going to have a good night's sleep. I finally went to adjust the clock in the kitchen, got the folding steps, climbed up onto the bunker to reach the clock. Missed the steps on the way down, fell backwards hitting the end of the table on the way down Jeez I'm sore, lower RHS of my back down into my hip are very tender, walking is very painful, using a stick helps a little. Got a repair job to do on the folding table leg once I'm mobile again, folded that end in the meantime.

Update: stick wasn't helping that much so I've upgraded to a crutch, not a hell of a lot better, walking bleedin' hurts, might even try two! Had the crutches around for years, Ging had a hip op, the NHS collected everything else but didn't want the crutches Made the mistake of trying to twist round in front of the bedroom mirror to see if any bruising had come up on my back yet . . . . what a dumb idea that was!

I was going out tomorrow . . . . can't see that happening.
