Should come off with a good tug, just remember to pull it straight up without bending and don't punch yourself in the face

This is a bit of a demo job
Put into neutral Push Drivers seat right back. Get two pieces of 2x2(roughly) 12" long. Push gear lever gaiter, down out of way. put a piece of 2x2 either side of lever , tight under the gear knob lip, and hit it up with hammer (hard). Sounds silly but it really does work. Go careful and watch you face. I cannot recommend this but it worked for me trimani (Alf) |
