Default Fibre glass

Having given up on trying to fashion some MDF mounts for my speakers, I thought I might try to beef up the existing mounts and seal the gaps by fibre glassing them.

I've never done fibre glassing before though. Does it stick to plastic and metal?

Can anyone recommend a kit I might use to do it all, preferably from Halfords as I have some gift vouchers to spend there.

Thanks.

Fibre glass sticks to anything practically! When you make fibre glass shells over molds etc you need to cover in a releasing agent. You might be better to ask the question on Talkaudio as they are forever using the stuff to make some quite amazing stuff!
