Could I make a suggestion. The suggested visit to Dunkirk. Would it be advisable to ‘do’ Dunkirk on the way back from Holland? My reasoning is because, the last time I drove through Antwerp on a Friday afternoon, on the m/way, it was mind numbing in the ‘sitting in loads of traffic’ for around three quarters of an hour kind, and if we go to Dunkirk on the Friday morning, I think it will be more likely that we sit in traffic at Antwerp. Only a suggestion on past experience.

Personally I would prefer to push on and get past any potential traffic jams. However it surely is up to the individual concerning stops etc.

Knowing that route very well, I would agree about that. Don't push on TOO much though. Particularly around Dunkirk where the limit is either 90kph or 110kph. and they mean it. Been done twice, once for 91kph,
