Default Central locking inertia switch

Hello, can anyone tell me where the central locking inertia switch is located please. My car has stopped locking and unlocking on the fob although the console switch works everything apart from the drivers door. Thanks, Dave.

It won't be the inertia switch, if that had tripped, engine would be inhibited and the hazard lights would be flashing.

More likely to be that the key needs re-synchronising, stand close to the car and press either button four times in quick succession, on the fourth press it should re-synchronise.

Hello Ray, thanks for the very rapid reply. I went straight out to the car and tried your suggestion but with no luck I'm afraid. Do you think there is a clue with the drivers door not locking / unlocking using the centre console switch. I have a spare drivers door complete the lock so I might give that a try over the weekend if I get some spare time to play. Thanks again, Dave.
