That would have been me in my Connie FV53YFO. We were both thirsty so I picked up some beers and she got a full tank of diesel.

That’s the one, I was heading over to Aldi. You came to mind but thought you had a Moonstone tourer. Nice looking car, it’s one of my favourite colours.

Still got the moonstone tourer but gave into the 75 addiction and got a saloon 18 months ago to have the set lol!

Bought my tourer from Mill Garage when they were at the Toll Bar 16 years ago . Best car I’ve ever owned. As handy as pockets in trousers!

Wish I’d done the same then, I negotiated a cracking deal on a city rover for my sister in law a couple of days after Rover went down, daft thing was she could have had a 25 for not much more.. never mind. I’ve had my Contemporary Se since 2012, and have to say the same.
