Still fashionable to knock the Marina. It sold in shedloads despite few of our media ever giving such a reliable workhorse any credit, like so many other British built cars in the past. Had one as a company car and an Ital later. Never let me down unlike my colleagues' superior choices for company cars.

I also bought one used and enjoyed it. Fun to drive, bullet proof reliable and cost peanuts to run. Digital image of old 6x4" Print. The faded Red paint was an optional extra for most cars back in those now faraway days. Gloucestershire registration too. :~

I had three of them.

The last was a panel van, converted to a 1.8 using parts from the sedan. Rebuilt/designed the front suspension, fitted a ford 105e diff and ford Granada seats. It had a form of electronic ignition and a well used roof rack-it saw many miles of both work and pleasure trips.
