Default Upper steering column shroud removal

I did quite a bit of searching to see how this is done.

Haynes manual says that it cannot be removed as the leatherette is attached to the dash, but I found a couple of pics where people had changed it so knew that it could.
I had wondered about loosening the two bolts that are visible so gave it a go and sure enough it came free.
To help anyone else that might be thinking about it, i have attached a couple of pictures to show the bolts.

Once loosened a few turns the column can be pulled down slightly and the leatherette will pull free. It is attached to a plastic tab that can be tricky to get back in.
On my interior swap one went in Ok and on the other I ended up trimming the plastic on either side to help. Tighten the bolts back up and job done.

That's very handy to know as I am just about to change mine.

Thanks
