HI Folks

I have this on a Used Head unit going to customer and did not realize until today that the Walnut trim was there . I Was wondering if it is difficult to remove as the Head Units new Owner does not have the walnut interior.

Has anyone tried otr have any tps to remove the walnut trim ?
Cheers

I think the only way would be to carefully use a hairdryer to warm the trim thoroughly and then very gently prise it up starting from one corner. No guarantee it will work though!

I removed some from a piece of trim a while ago and that was exactly how I did it. It came off a treat, and the walnut was even reusable.

I may have just been lucky of course, but I'm sure you'll have no trouble removing it.

I have removed it by heating it up with a hairdryer. Comes away very easily and leaves no residue either.

Well, it worked for me anyway. Not only that it is reusable.

Welcome to the club Aiden from upside down land but you are on the wrong thread as what you get on here is walnut to fit on the interior trim suich as door switches, HU surounds etc.

Best look in the for sale section plenty of traders with various bits but the walnut wheels are expensive, and you could try posting in the wanted section
