Hi Shuntis,
Had to visit my HR dept in Norwich at 2.30 yesterday (being on gardening Leave) Decided unwise to use car so took the bus at 11.15 from Hingham, Took me 4 hours to get to Norwich, last hour was 4 miles on foot. Grapes Hill Coned off by police, missed meeting obviously, visited colleagues, warmed up, and had a coffee, Over to bus station, waited 1.5 hours, caught a bus at 6pm back home at 9.15pm. A wasted day, don't get out much this month and when i do this happens! Conclusion -Norwich and gritters cannot cope with daytime snow, possibly unforecast. Norwich was gridlock from lunchtime onwards... Regards Mark |
