Plenty of things to do and see. It's one big huge social event really. Families are encouraged and we try our best to choose venues where there is something for everyone to enjoy.

You'll almost certainly make new friends

I've never been to one of these meets before, so not really sure what to expect. I'll certainly be interested to see some of the more unusual colours 'in the flesh' so to speak, but I hope for my wife's sake that it's not going to be a day of non-stop MG/Rover techno-babble, because I just know that she'll fall asleep standing up if that happens! Mind you, we've ordered wristbands for the museum and she was okay with Beaulieu 30 years ago .. I imagine Gaydon is similar?

I'm not a terribly regular visitor to the forum, but some of the names are familiar (mostly the mods!) so if anyone spots my car and comes over for a chat it'll make my day. Looking forward to Sunday, with all fingers and toes crossed for the weather
I went to my first proper meet with the club last weekend for Pride of Longbridge. You won't be disappointed everyone is a friendly bunch

As for the museum, this must be the 4th or 5th time I've been there and will be going again for MG Fest later in the year.

just an observation but just been onto the Gaydon website and although they have the facility to advertise events/car clubs etc there is no mention of our meet there on Sunday, do they charge for the privilege of advertising an event ?

Do any of the members travelling from the West MIdlands area fancy a convoy down to Gaydon, meet at say 9am KFC ( Near Village Hotel ) just off M6 J10, should give us plenty of time without starting out too early, i see Devilish, Wolves 75 and Wide Load down to attend from this area, but all are welcome even Stocktake if you are passing again !

I've seen ya at Pride of Longbridge, you have no chance of climbing the fence...

Just confirmed that we shall be attending on Sunday and have completed purchase of tickets, but waiting for the system to catch up before I can print off the window ticket. Looking forward to a good day.
Anyone attending with the Vis Motor tester please?

Will try to get to KFC J10 M6 by 09.00 to join the convoy but don't wait for me in case we're running late.

Stuart
