rover 75 1800 club 2002 key problems
My outer plastic casing of my key fob is broken and it looks like ive only got the rear button, on the printed curcuit working as the one at the front is missing the rubber button .I've been using my key recently with no problems, but i've now got an intermitent fault with using the key.I sometimes have to leave my car unlocked, as when i now lock it with the key the interior light doesn't go off,so it would be on all night .If i got the remote key part repaired or replaced would it cancel out the key problem. As my car is getting on a bit, much like myself,i don't want to chuck money at it unnecessary.Sometimes when i close it with the key i get a horn sound which would normally mean that the car wasn't totally closed properly, but i've checked this and that's not the case.Other days it will work perfectly.
