2005 ROVER 75 CDTi CONTEMPORARY TOURER - NOW SOLD
CAR NOW SOLD. MOT Failure, not viable for me to repair it, but someone else certainly could, as it's still a good car. I've only had it a year - whoever MOT'd it for the dealer I bought it from last year should be shot. 83702 miles, two keys, four virtually new tyres, a new tow bar that I put on, an Xtrons Android 10 stereo, and clean interior, apart from the rip in the outer bolster of the driver's seat. All the electrics and the aircon work, although I had to pull the cigarette lighter door off recently to get it to open (wife had pushed the lighter in too far then closed it), but it's not broken, just needs putting back on, all the bits are in the armrest cubby hole.
The bad stuff is all in the MOT refusal photo - airbag light on (of course), sills, suspension, brake discs, headlamps, a few bearings and ball-joints here and there, and on top of that the clutch biting point is very near the floor, so it might mean a new clutch soonish (or it might be something simpler of course). It would be a shame to scrap it - I know there will be a 75 owner out there who can either fix it or use it for parts. The photos are all below. Alastair, Yeovil, PM me.
