Default Mini Surrey/Hants meet 14th June 2008

Is anyone interested in a mini-meet at my school on the above date, 12:00 to 3:30.
We are having a Summer Fayre with a theme of transport. There will be a small classic car show, a double decker bus etc. etc.
The organiser has said that if we wanted to put on a small show we could do so. It would be nice to have a tourer and a V8 there. I, of course, can supply the saloon. If any one fancies polishing up their motor and bringing it along please contact me. The venue is Barfield School, just outside Farnham in Surrey.

Please be aware this is not an official 75 & ZT Owners Club meet and as such is not covered by the clubs public liability insurance. Also the owners club take no responsibility for the meet in any way.

Thanks for your co-operation in this

Hi Steve,

I could supply the Tourer but only to 2pm due to other commitments. Would this be any help?

That sounds Great, but I would need to check what sort of access (or, in your case exit) was available prior to the end of the fayre. Depending on where they put the cars it may not be possible to leave early. I will let you know. Thanks very much.

Just giving this a last call. If any one is interested, the fete is next Saturday. There is not really enough volunteers (3) at the moment to make a decent display of the different models of 75 & ZT. PM if you want details.
Barfield has a connection to motor cars as the first person to get a speeding ticket lived in the house, John Henry Knight. He was also the person that repealed the red flag law. If it wasn't for him you may still have needed a man in front when you drive!!

That would be great Chris. It is, of course, only a school fete but there will be a beer tent here Not sure what we will be competing with from the classic car show? But you can't get more classic than a ZT or 75 eh!

Cheers

Hi Steve,

Would just like to say that it was good to meet you and some of the other members yesterday and to see some lovely 75's and a ZTT.

A pleasant way to spend a few hours and not have any other thoughts and to speak to people equally enthusiastic about the 75 and ZT.

Thanks for organising the day
