Default Ignition Blue

Been a lurker on these forums for a while, but as I'm now a fully paid up member I thought I'd post some pics of my ZT.

It's a ZT+ 160 1.8T

I’m the 3rd owner having purchased it on 26 January 2013 @ 66,800miles.

Car has all the usual “+” extras such as ATC dual zone climate control, electric rear windows, boot mounted “lip” spoiler and the 6 CD multi-changer, but in addition to this it has the optional extras: message centre highline instrument pack, power-fold mirrors and heated front seats.

Bodywork is in excellent condition for the age of the car. All four 18" grid spoke alloy wheels were refurbished along with new bolts and centre caps in 2012. Rear wheels still unmarked but there’s now some light kerbing by me to the fronts, but still in great condition though.

Interior is spotless. It has blue door cards and the half leather seats (with blue stitching) have hardly any wear to them. Also has the rare grey marble effect dash inserts and an upgraded Pioneer head unit with USB & iPod connectivity and working steering wheel controls with this unit.

Head gasket, water pump, inlet & exhaust gaskets, thermostat & housing and timing belt all done in 2011. It has the orange clip fitted to the fuel filter housing and also fitted is a metal T piece on the coolant hose to replace the fragile plastic one.

Just had a full service carried out by Terry of TS Autos on 26.10.14 @77,350 miles. Almost 2 years of ownership and still loving it

What else does it say on the sticker above the door striker, i can make out ZT. Did the Mk1's have this sticker?

It denotes trim level. Base + and SE also the power unit.

A facelift thing.

Looks like a brilliant example, in one of my favourite colours, being Ignition Blue! Unusual in having chrome strips, which really suit the car.

One of my favourite colours too. The interior is unusual and ordered, chrome waitline strips were an option.

The car looks superb.

Thanks

In my ownership it had new track rod ends for the 2013 MOT and new rear handbrake shoes for the 2014 MOT. Also had a new starter motor last year.

Unfortunately its losing a bit of coolant at the moment from I think the inlet manifold gasket, but taking it back to Terry TS Autos tomorrow to get it sorted.

Coolant loss sorted today by Terry. Was the inlet manifold gasket, which he's now replaced with a new Payen one.

Beautiful looking car. The facelift ZT in Ignition Blue is one of my fave versions of the car.
