So Jules.. Have you given yourself away there ? You a Tommy Handley fan too ??

Any way I have been thinking along similar lines as Reebs, should we not have a sticky somewhere with a glossary of these acronyms ?

Fbh, Vis, Hgf, and all the others are very confusing when you first come across them.

If you look in the "Social Forum" there is an Acronym Glossary.

1. Plenum drains..all 3 or 4 year dependent
2. Cooling fan..All speeds functioning
3. Bonnet cable divider block

The last time I bumped a post I had to polish the scratch out!!!!

Mind you in my job we have

TPIS, FADEC,FAFCE,VIGV,EICAS,ECAM,QAR,CVR,WXR,GPWS,ADC.. ............
why is life so complicated?

FADEC .... now that would be good in my car.

Full Authority Digital Engine Control (makes our ECU's seem simple)


My turbocharger has VIGV though. ...Variable Inlet Guide Vanes
