Morning all - we seem to have missed the worst of the storm here. Some strong winds and horizontal rain for a couple of hours last night, but now it's calm, clear, with just a hint of blue sky now and then.
It has turned distinctly colder mind you - forecast for tonight is -2°, with sleet showers on the menu for Monday.

Not a great night last night. Couldn't get to sleep not helped by the howling wind and rain battering against the window. Feel like a washed out cloth today.

Warning for sleet and snow later on!

We have pretty much the same here Rod, you are 50.8 miles south of me so you fall into the same weather area overall, we are expecting sleet showers tonight and an unsettled week of weather.

I think I'm a bit higher than you too Rich (370 feet above sea level), which definitely has a bearing on temperatures.

Afternoon all, perishing out there now 2C but no sign of snow yet.

We'll be having some o that turkey soup I made yesterday for tea.
I'd no idea how high we were above sea level so I checked.

Been over at Little Longbridge all day, trying to get my ZT-T into a useable state. It never got above 3 degrees so decided to give up about 3 o’clock & came home for crisps & sweets
