Default Yamaha Dragstar XVS650 **SOLD**

Found a ZR for my wife, but not got any money so need to sell this.

It's a 1997 Dragstar 650, metallic orange, approx. 29,000 miles, no tax or MOT, was MOT'd around July 2012, as I was planning on using it but then things changed and its not really been used much since, just up and down the road to keep it going.

It's not in great condition, 1 of the heatshields is rusty, and theres a mark on the exhaust from some powerful cleaning fluid. But it's a good useable everyday bike.

Looking for a quick sale, and considering condition etc I'm asking for £800 OVNO, or I can probably arrange a van to take it to an MOT for £850.

Bikes at the inlaws at the moment so cant get any photos, but heres a few from not too long ago, and a video of it running:

Seem to be having a lot of luck! I put it on gumtree at 20:45 with a price of £950, by 21:10 I had 6 offers ranging from £800 to £900, blokes (hopefully) coming tomorrow to buy it for £900! So this is now provisionally sold, wish I'd asked for more!

The mudguard was a style choice, good to be different lol until it rained, and then the riding position and lack of mudguard meant the rain flew up vertically in front of you and you rode straight into it! Oh to be young and foolish!

Still wish I could buy your TL, good luck with it!

Shame that bike suited you, watching that video.... good job I do not post my own image, people would assume you are my long lost son... its eerie.
Obviously Im older, uglier and slightly fatter, and my comb back/over and pony tail now attempts to cover the balding patch.

Dont be too sad, AT least you have the ZT.......

My son likes it too, keeps asking if he can go on it. It's stayed in the family, with a high chance of it coming back in the future

12 hours, 14 offers, think I priced it too low, but it went to my dad in the end. He said if I was selling it that cheap he'd have it back.
