I know just what you mean, we have had pets in the past, they become part of the family, and I have cried when we had them put down.
Catch up I with you both at the New Inn.

Good day to you both Dawn and Julien,

It's never easy to put a pet down, but as Jeff once said to me "it is the final act of love and devotion that an owner can give".

A few years ago I had to help the vet to put down a donkey and horse at our small holding in Nairobi. We keep a meadow, a cemetery just for the animals. For the donkey it was a deep hole then I/V drugs to put her to sleep. She was very peaceful. For the horse, a bullet into the brain - very quick and merciful. The vet had her own gun. We were so annoyed about the horse, as one of the cow hands had given the horse, large tobacco leaves to eat and of course that made the horse very sick from bloat and poisoning.

Cheers Julien. The letter of authority arrived this morning and tomorrow at 10:40 a.m I have another appointment with the registrar for deaths. As soon as the paperwork is completed, I can get a firm date for Mikes cremation at Golders Green Crematorium at 10 a.m a week Friday (TBC).

My insurance co have now given me permission to drive Mikes car. That is progress The battery was removed and is charging up, as it was very flat. All of the tyres are flat as a pancake, but I have an air compressor.

MG-Rover South East are holding a memorial Christmas dinner for Mike 14:00 on Saturday 10 Dec at the Kings Arms Harvester, Barnet,

Good day to Richard

Will your dads passing be referred to the coroner? If I may ask, what is his Christian name?
