What does come from the front is the "You've left the headlights on" beep, as mentioned in this note on page 114 of the owner's manual. NOTE: If the lights (other than parking lights and headlight courtesy delay) are left on after the starter switch has been turned off, a warning chime will sound when the driver’s door is opened, until either the lights are turned off, or the door is closed. The sounder for that is on the back of the IPK. Also see https://the75andztclub.co.uk/forum/s...d.php?t=242166. Post 4 says facelift cars (Mk2) have the reverse sounder inside the IPK - so you must have a Mk2? |

Its definitely a MK1 and it does bong when lights left on - but a different sound to the beep i'm getting when in reverse. I'm going to hard wire the parcel sounder to pins 2 & 8 on the ecu and see what happens. Thanks Mike.

I shall try and clear up some confusion.
All IPK lowline and highline have a sounder, which is used on YAC11XXXX variants for lights on warning chime. For YAC00XXXX IPK the self same sounder is present, and is used again for the lights on warning and also as the PDC sounder. The firmware in the YAC11XXXX IPK do not support KMB PDC, YAC00XXXX firmware does. It is for this reason, if you don't know about the differences and swap the EEPROM from a late IPK to an early one, the PDC no longer operates Brian |
