Coincidentally, my wife and I are off tomorrow to see the actual Concorde (G-BOAC) that we flew in, in 1993.
It was a 40th birthday treat for her and we only flew subsonic from Heathrow to Birmingham. Awesome experience! It is parked up at Manchester airport and we will be looking around it on the "Technical Tour". Looking forward to it. Can still remember the seats we sat in, front row on the right hand side, just behind the "mach meter". |

From the pre-flight Concorde' pictures it looked very, very long, then a later picture showed an 'engineer' lying down under the wing, and I realised it really is that big!
anyone got any figures regarding model size?
