Another vote for DMGRS from me.
This should be the kit you need. https://www.dmgrs.co.uk/collections/...and-oil-filter Make sure you get the kit with everything, the PCV filter will probably have never been changed.

A 20L drum provides for 3 oil changes. Any good quality 5W40 Synthetic meeting the A3/B3 specification or better will be fine as will 10W40 semi-synthetic.
My choices are as follow: Millers XF 5W40 from Opie Oils 20L costs about £120 Shell Ultra 5W40 from Carparts4Less £83 for 20L with their 10% discount http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5w-40-Full....c100290.m3507 If money is tight, Triplex 10W40 20L drum from Euro Car Parts for about £32 Given the age of our cars, there will probably be very little difference between the above four for all practicle purposes. The 20L drum of Smith&Allan oil is probably the best compromise from the above. Last edited by MSS; 10th October 2017 at 11:45.. |
