Default So proud of my "Eve" today.........

Embarked on my 265 mile round trip today and I am pleased to say my Eve passed with flying colours lots of motorway M6/A1M..... lots of bendy, winding, uphills, downhill roads and she behaved herself perfectly.

The only event was 18 miles up the M6 and being overtaken by a 4x4, a stone the size of the rock of Gibralter flew into my windscreen, I saw it coming but could do nothing ..... now got a little chip in the windscreen and I hope it don't crack.
Used £40 fuel there and back, but still got little bit left I worked it out to approx 35 m.p.g.
One surprise was I was travelling up M6 in nearside lane and my wife suddenly says "do you know how fast you are going?"
I look at my speedo and it says 85 mph, I swear it felt like 70mph

Before you know it you will be putting on the miles without a second thought. After 6 years of ownership I have full confidence in my car and regular put on 1000miles and trips from London to the Orkney islands I take with no care in the world.
