Terraclean the truth is out there!
For us in the North West that attended Vindaloo's meet on Saturday you will already know what this is about. For those who didn't go, read on.
We had a meet at Atherton Car Safety Centre where the owner Chris offered a free Terraclean as a raffle prize. A number of us also chose to have a Terraclean done on our cars. The cost was slightly reduced for the day as an incentive and was £65 for petrol and £70 for diesel. I am the first person who would slam these sort of things into the ground as 'snake oil' but found the following results after the Terraclean process. Dramatically reduced engine noise at idle and speed Dramatically reduced vibration at idle and speed Noticeable improvement in torque Reduction in turbo lag Autobox changing up earlier Little or no improvement in fuel consumption I did promise Chris that I would tell others what I thought of the Terraclean and to be honest it has made the car more of a pleasure to drive and less of a clunky, noisy, rattley diesel and a much more refined and pleasant unit. So, and this was the question I was asking myself before having it done, is it worth the money? One short answer, and of course in my opinion, Yes. I would be interested to find out what other people who have had it done think too. |

Thanks for the report Rich & I'll be sure to pass your comments onto Chris tomorrow.
I had my CDT Tourer treated about 2 weeks ago at Chris's and noticed the car was smoother with better throttle response and more torque on tap. I didn't notice mine was any quieter but after hearing yours running today, I do agree yours was as sweet as a nut on tick over. I think for the cost of just an oil change, I too think it's probably worth it. |

I'm sure Edd China used in on Wheeler Dealers XK8 and the results were very impressive.

BTW - I will be doing a WAY better deal for my friends in the North East that want it done. Those that have done me the odd little favor, perhaps long forgotten by them, will be FOC. |

I'm not knocking it, I was the one that organised the meet where it was demonstrated after all, I was just making the point that several owners had the treatment on Saturday as I had done previously and we are all happy and I believe opinions of 'real owners' rather than someone promoting the process who has received six grands worth of kit for free. Our opinions are broadly the same as Edd's anyway.............so no problem
