I'v always thought it a sin the way the masses seam to jet of to far away places on hols, before ever looking further than where they live and work.
honestly most folk I know think north is stirling lol. they have no idea the beauty and tranquility scotland has to offer. and the saddest thing is they will never know. would rather spend they'r hard earned getting skin cancer and alcohol poisoning in some foreign land same folk would have you believe they are proud to be scottish. and they have never seen the place rant over.

But Scotland has beutiful countryside and when in Wales thathas lovely countryside and so does England. I count myself lucky living over on the isle of Wight having amazing views which look like chocolate boxes. I think that's a lovely place where you are visiting and as long as we all have countryside such as above who needs to go abroad.
Coo !!! After reading that I almost booked a flight back.
Could be the cheaper fuel. The no road fund license. The huge amounts of space to yourself. The smaller amounts of rules and regs. The super roads. The lack of radar. The better medical care. The cheap to buy houses. All helped to make me decide to stay here. Lol.
